POV: You Just Booked Me for Your Event – Here's What's Next
The contract is signed. The deposit is in. We're officially working together, and I'm already excited about your event.
Now comes the part where we bring your vision to life.
I'll Send Over What I Need From You
Depending on what we're creating, I'll need:
Guest names (if personalizing items by a deadline or creating placecards)
Brand guidelines or design preferences
Materials you're providing (if any)
Event timeline and setup details
Any special requests or last-minute additions
If we're working with materials I haven't used before – a specific leather, glass, or metal – I'll request a sample to do test runs behind the scenes to make sure everything looks flawless on event day.
I'll also confirm logistics: my arrival time, setup location, what I'm bringing, what you're providing.
The goal? Zero surprises.
Event Day: The Magic Happens
I arrive early to set up.
Depending on your event, I might be tucked away creating place cards and signage before guests arrive, or front and center at a live personalization station where guests can watch their items being crafted in real-time.
Here's what happens when guests encounter live personalization:
They pause. They watch. They pull out their phones.
There's something captivating about seeing a name or message being crafted by hand. It feels personal, intentional, special – not mass-produced.
For PR events and brand activations, this is where the real value shows up. While guests get their items personalized, they're engaging with your brand in a memorable way. They're creating content. They're talking about the experience. And when they leave with their beautifully personalized item, they're taking a piece of your brand story with them.
Last-minute changes? Guest additions? Name swaps? A VIP who just walked in? I've got you. My hospitality background means I roll with it and keep everything running smoothly.
After the Event
I'll follow up to make sure everything went as planned. I love hearing how the personalization was received and what moments stood out for you and your guests.
If you're open to it, I might ask to feature your event in my portfolio or share behind-the-scenes moments on social media (with your permission, of course).
And here's the thing: many of my clients come back for future events, refer colleagues, or reach out when they need personalization for different activations.
This isn't just a transaction. It's the start of a relationship.
